Kitt Farrar has enjoyed the last 21+ years with National Instruments in the test & measurement industry as an R&D manager, application engineer, account manager, and business development manager. For the last 8 years, he has focused on testing wireless automotive systems, which has evolved to include testing of autonomous and driver assistance systems, with emphasis on radar, cameras, GNSS and vehicle-to-X (V2x) communication. Kitt focuses on creating hybrid solutions through collaboration, because he believes it is the best way to effectively address the growing complexity and cost of test in ADAS & autonomous driving. Key to his approach is the openness of the NI hardware & software platform, and its vast community & ecosystem. Kitt graduated with a BA in Physics & Mathematics from Albion College and MS in Biomedical Engineering from The Ohio State University. He now lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, but spends much of his time here in the Detroit area.
