Timofey started his career from designing image processing algorithms for mobile camera and continued working on architecture and high level design of ISP at Samsung. Next he worked at OmniVision developing computational photography solutions for automotive and surveillance, which included HDR camera system built around image sensor with variable pixel exposure. Later at Tesla he worked on bringing up Tesla's first in house Autopilot hardware, tuned ISP for machine vision and developed image processing technology to effectively feed hdr image sensor signal into machine learning hardware using fixed word size. At Pony.AI he overlooks all aspects of imaging for computer vision. Timo's passion is to create effective machine vision camera system by bridging imaging and machine vision technologies.
