Dan Davies is an Innovation Manager for North American Lighting, Koito Group, based in Sunnyvale, CA. He holds a BS from UC Berkeley and a MS from Tokyo Institute of Technology in mechanical and robotics engineering respectively. His focus is on transformational technologies that will answer the new needs arising in the future of mobility. Dan started out with a career in Mechanical Engineering designing stair-climbing robots, automotive airbags, and security camera lenses. Through customer and supplier meetings, he developed an interest in business, and found the opportunity to utilize his technical background to build a new career in technical sales.
