Helmut Wodrich serves as the Product Line Director - Ranging of Magna Electronics. In this role, Wodrich is responsible for strategy and development of the ranging product portfolio, including Magna’s iCON Radar, LiDAR, and other sensing technologies, which increase safety and provide comfort and convenience.
He has experience leading teams to develop and launch advanced features based radar and LiDAR for major OEM customers.
Wodrich has been working in the automotive industry since 1981 as a co-op student at Hydramatic division, a part of General Motors until 1993. He also has experience at Ford Motor Company. He previously worked at Valeo and Magna’s Powertrain division and has extensive experience in ADAS, electronics software and components.
Wodrich received his BSME from Kettering University and Master of Science from the University of Michigan.
